Welcome to our new blog! We're a group of gals in UT who wanna bring the 50s back--okay perhaps not all the housewife traditions (women's work, my butt!)--but the fashions and the hairstyles and the cars.
My name is Tara and I'm a aircraft maintenance supervisor by day and a pug rescuer by night--and I do all this wearing my fifties clothes. Ok, the pug rescue, I sometimes don shorts and a tee shirt because boy, pugs shed!!! I don't wear the hats too often, because my husband is not a fan, but I'm into Victory rolls, cute heels, and crinolines. I'll be posting dress reviews, shop reviews, random fifties stuff, the occasional vintage find, and even though it's completely irrelevant, there will no doubt be a pug photo or two. I can't help myself.

Dynamite Dolls Photography. Christina Lynn has always had a love for all things vintage; from the fabulous cars to the amazing art, but especially the fashion. Preferring to dress in the retro style and with an ever-growing collection of vintage style clothing and lingerie, it only made sense for her to start modeling pin-up. After a few years of modeling, including being published in multiple magazines, she recently decided to explore photography and what it means to be a modern pin-up.

Ginger Long is an outgoing, fun loving, hard working woman, but don't be fooled - even though she spent 4 years in the Army, she is still a Princess, and her loving husband treats her as such! Ginger is also the mother of a beautiful twenty-something daughter, 2 cockatiels, 3 small dogs, and several fancy rats. She works as a Program Manager at a large company in Salt Lake Ciy, UT, enjoys antiquing, crotcheting, finding good deals on fun retro fashion items, and has recently discovered kayaking. Ginger is a plus size woman with big feet who has a difficult time finding the styles she likes in her size. She ends up doing most of her dress and shoe shopping online due to limited availability and has learned a few things along the way. She may have transitioned her whole weekday wardrobe to pin-up style; but you will find her in PJs when at home and on the weekends.
